About
01 · Origin
Born in Casablanca in 1985, raised in Moroccan culture. Still return regularly — it stays home, not just origin. Trilingual by necessity (French · English · Arabic Darija) — a skill that would later become a differentiator in consulting. The Mediterranean work ethic: show up, do the work, respect the craft.
02 · Formation
France for the actuarial years, 2003–2015 — Strasbourg and Paris. MSc in Actuarial Science. Certification by the Institut des Actuaires de France. First years of practice inside French insurance. Then two years in London (2015–2016) — expanding into UK insurance practice. The French school: rigorous, mathematical, proof-driven. No shortcuts. Every assumption justified.
03 · Practice
Canada since 2016 — Toronto first, then Montréal. ACIA certification (Canadian Institute of Actuaries). Fifteen years in Big 4 consulting across France, the UK, and Canada — model validation, IFRS 17 implementation, risk management organizational design, regulatory frameworks. Since 2020, a growing advisory footprint across the Middle East insurance market — regional insurance groups, cross-border regulatory work. Thousands of hours inside the engine.
04 · The thesis
A-MLIA exists because the gap between what Big 4 delivers and what companies actually need has never been wider. AI compresses effort by 3–5×. Boutique removes 80% of the overhead. Partner-level delivery removes the risk of junior handoffs. This is what the next fifteen years of consulting looks like.

Experience
15 years in Big 4 consulting across actuarial and risk advisory practices — France, the UK, and Canada. Technical depth across model validation (OSFI E-23), insurance accounting transitions (IFRS 17), capital adequacy frameworks (LICAT, Solvency II), and organizational restructuring for risk management functions. Engagements with top-tier Canadian insurers, reinsurers, pension funds, and international advisory for cross-border regulatory work — including a growing Middle East advisory footprint since 2020 with regional insurance groups. Thousands of hours scoping, building, validating, and defending actuarial models — at the level where the work actually matters.
